Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the playing XI of the Indian team one day before the start of the first Test match. Following the failures of KL Rahul, Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan in the past, India have decided to try Rohit Sharma at the top in Tests. Rohit Sharma will partner Mayank Agarwal in the first Test, starting October 2. India skipper in the press conference has also confirmed that Wriddhiman Saha will keep wickets in the first Test against South Africa. Ahead of the series opener in Vizag, Virat Kohli termed Wriddhiman Saha as the best wicketkeeper in the world.
