South Africa beat India by 9 wickets in the third T20 international match at Bengaluru to level the 3-match T20 series 1-1. Opting to bat first after winning the toss the Indian batsmen failed to get going. Initially, though, the decision seemed to have worked as Shikhar Dhawan took India to 54 for 1 in 6 overs. Except Shikhar Dhawan, no other batsmen got a start as Proteas kept taking wickets at regular intervals. Ravindra Jadeja scored 19 off 17 balls to help the hosts score a modest 134/9 in 20 overs Rishabh Pant who was once again under the scanner failed to deliver as he managed to score only 19 and his string of poor scores continue. Pant was dismissed cheaply in the 2nd T20 in Mohali. South African bowlers Kagiso Rabada, Bjorn Fortuin and Beuran Hendricks shared seven wickets between themselves. Rabada bagged three wickets while Bjorn Fortuin and Beuran Hendricks bagged two wickets each.
