Jimmy Neesham, one of the stars of Blackcaps' semifinal win at the T20 World Cup, said he was "more than happy to get one back on them" - referring to the penultimate over he bowled in the 2019 ICC World Cup Final which England won beating New Zealand in a super over.
At the T20 World Cup semifinals, Neesham scored 27 runs of just 11 balls to set the tone for New Zealand's push in the final overs.
The left-handed all-rounder reckons playing a familiar opposition in the final gives them an advantage as they had beaten Australia in a T20 series earlier this year.
Neesham has been away from New Zealand since the aborted tour to Pakistan in September. He stayed on in Dubai to play in the unfinished IPL and now the Blackcaps are one win away from another sensational performance in an ICC event.
