After winning the T20I series 2-1 against Australia, team India will look to continue their winning momentum in the first Test of the four-match Test series beginning December 17 in Adelaide. The first match of the series will be a D/N Test where the Pink ball will be used. This will be India’s second Pink ball Test after first being played against Bangladesh at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. There might be a garboil when it comes to team selection as 3-4 positions are up for grabs for newcomers which include second opener slot, the wicket-keeper, the lower-order batsman, and the third pacer. Practise games ahead of the series have given a slight edge of how the first Test is going to be like, but with Smith and Warner back in squad and Labuschagne at his peak, it will be interesting to see how team India will tackle the mighty Aussies.
