Ravi Shastri, the former India head coach, has claimed that the ECB's new executive director of men's cricket, Rob Key, needs to develop a "thick skin" like he did to deal with "jealous people."
Shastri told the Guardian that there was a "gang of people in India" who wanted him to fail all the time.
Key, like Shastri, has long been a popular pundit, and despite the fact that he lacks a coaching degree, he tries to ease into a new role.
