After escaping the first Test at Kanpur with a thrilling draw, New Zealand will be looking at their positive track record at the Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai ahead of the second Test against hosts India that starts on Friday.

Tim Southee, who starred for his team claiming eight-wickets in the Kanpur Test, said coming to a venue with good record is always a nice feeing.

New Zealand last played at Wankhade in 1988 when they beat India by 136 runs.

Rain forced both teams to indoor training sessions on Thursday and wet conditions are expected to delay the start of the Test match on Friday.
