The controversy-filled women’s qualifier trials for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 are over but yet it seems like that there are some women pugilists who aren’t happy with the fairness of how these trials have been conducted. In her latest statement, Indian pugilist Sarita Devi went all guns blazing at the Boxing Federation of India saying that her final bout of Olympic Selection trials was not fairly judged and also alleged fixing of the final bout by none other than BFI Executive Director RK Sacheti, Foreign coach Raffael and Chhote Lal Yadav. Sarita Devi lost to Simranjeet Kaur in a split decision 8-2 in the final bout of the Olympic Qualifier trials. She has in fact written a letter to BFI president Ajay Singh regarding the matter.
