Valencia eased to victory over Real Madrid in the Euroleague for the second time this season on Friday, winning 89-78 at La Fonteta. The home side held a 20-point lead at half-time - thanks in part to Klemen Prepelic's buzzer-beater - and cruised the rest of the way, even while being outscored 26-18 by Real in the fourth quarter. Sam van Rossom finished with 16 points and eight assists, while Vanja Marinkovic scored 14 and Nikola Kalinic added 12 as Valencia won for only the third time in nine games. Jaycee Carroll led all scorers with 20 points, but Real lost for the fifth time in eight games and slipped to 15-10.
