Basketball: Lakers move within one win of Western final berth

Los Angeles Lakers edged one game closer to their reaching their first NBA Western Conference playoff final since 2010, with a comfortable 110-100 victory in Game 4 of their semi-final series against Houston Rockets. The Lakers never surrended the lead almost from tip-off, building a cushion as big as 23 points in the fourth quarter with Anthony Davis topscoring with 29. LeBron James finished the game one assist short of a triple-double, chipping in 16 points and 15 rebounds while four other Lakers hit double-digit scores including Rajon Rondo who also grabbed 10 rebounds. The regular season top seeds in the West now have the chance to close out the series in Game 5 on Saturday.
