Music industry too mourned the shocking death of retired star Kobe Bryant as the Grammy awards ceremony began barely two hours after news of the helicopter crash. The annual ceremony of the Grammy award was held in the home to the Los Angeles Lakers, STAPLES Center. It was made famous by the success of Bryant's teams after the iconic NBA franchise moved from their old home. Interim Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. opened the Grammy annual award ceremony with a moment of silence to pay their tribute.
