Malaysia's three-time Olympic silver medallist Lee Chong Wei is battling nose cancer, Badminton Association of Malaysia confirmed on Saturday. Two months ago, BAM had issued a statement saying that the World No 1 was taking a break from the sport as he had been diagnosed with 'a career-ending illness' right after Lee won the Malaysia Open tournament. While many sportsmen would have given up hope of making a comeback under such circumstances, the 35-year-old wants to play competitively again. "Wait for me. I'll return to the court. Don't forget me yet, I'm still here," he said in an encouraging voice message from Taiwan, where he is seeking medical treatment.
