Badminton: Chen Yufei clinches BWF World Tour Finals title

Local favourite Chen Yufei lifted the BWF World Tour Finals trophy after losing the first game to Tai Tzu Ying. China's Chen Yufei won women's Badminton World Federation World Tour Finals in Guangzhou. World number two Chen Yufei came from behind to defeat world number one Tai Tzu Ying from Chinese Taipei in a three-game high voltage match. Yufei secured a 12-21, 21-12, 21-17 victory over Ying to clinch the trophy. The 21-year-old Chen will become world number one, surpassing her opponent Ying next week.
