A Spanish tennis club in Marbella apologised for facilitating a tennis court to Novak Djokovic to practice on their premises. The violation of coronavirus lockdown rules came to light through the world number one when he posted a video of himself training at the club. Earlier, the club said that the Serb had permission to practice and had not broken Spain’s lockdown restrictions. But the Spanish tennis federation released a statement later to clarify that players were only permitted to conduct individual training and not allowed to return to court until May 11. The Serb has been staying in the Spanish coastal city for several weeks.
