Tennis: Djokovic sensationally disqualified from US Open

Novak Djokovic was dramatically defaulted in his US Open fourth round match with Pablo Carreno Busta after he hit a line judge with a ball. The top seed had just had his serve broken late in the first set and swatted a ball away in frustration. It caught the line judge in the throat, and her gasps of pain were audible. The rules state the penalty for such an incident is disqualification, even though it was an accident.
