The Czech Republic's Marie Bouzkova stunned Johanna Konta 6-3, 6-4 in the semi-finals at Monterrey. World number 16 Konta suffered a knee problem and required some strapping during the game. Bouzkova recorded the memorable win in one hour and 41 minutes and reached the first final on the WTA Tour.
