The Rugby World Cup Sevens will be held for the first time in the United States. San Francisco's ATandT Park, home to Major League Baseball's Giants, will host the giants of one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Rugby sevens is a faster, compact version of more traditional rugby union, with teams made up of seven players playing seven minutes halves instead of 15 players playing 40-minute halves. For the first time in the tournament's 15 year history, this year's World Cup Sevens will feature a knockout format throughout.
