No offside in car soccer launched by New Zealand club

The world was introduced to the sport of car soccer at the Beechlands Speedway Track just outside Timaru on New Zealand's South Island. The game is designed to be played over four 10-minute quarters - although this match only lasted for three due to a number of the cars breaking down at different stages of the encounter. The tackling is fierce, there are no offside and match officials are conspicuous by their absence FIFA might not approve the game.
