Football: Williams willing to fight for Man Utd first team place

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked ahead on Sunday to the following day's Europa League quarter-final meeting with Copenhagen and their Norwegian head coach Stale Solbakken - one of Solskjaer's former international team-mates. The 'Red Devils', who won the Europa League in 2017, have been in fine form either side of the season's suspension, losing only once in their last 23 games in all competitions. The two clubs have only played twice before, in the group stage of the 2006-07 Champions League, where they picked up a win apiece. This latest meeting is being played on neutral soil due to the coronavirus, with the tie reduced to a single leg. Monday's winner will advance to face either five-time former champions Sevilla or Wolverhampton Wanderers in the semi-finals, which will be played in Dusseldorf, Germany a week on Monday.
