Football: USWNT star Rose Lavelle excited to join Manchester City

US Women's National Team midfielder and World Cup winner Rose Lavelle has joined Manchester City, it was announced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old was one of the outstanding performers at last year's tournament where she helped the United States to victory. Lavelle has made 45 apperances for the US and scored 12 goals.
