Football: Talismanic Mbappe shines on return as PSG beat Nice 3-0

Kylian Mbappe led the way on his return after recovering from COVID-19, as PSG cruised past Nice in a confidence inspiring 3-0 victory. The French world champion opened the scoring from the spot after being fouled in the box by Khéphren Thuram. On the stroke of half-time, Angel Di Maria converted the rebound off of a shot by who other than Mbappe. Nice created plenty of opportunities, but in the end Marquinhos sealed the deal for the Parisians in the second half, heading in a Di Maria free-kick.
