Football: Suriname defeat the Cayman Islands 3-0 in CONCACAF WC qualifier

Galatasaray's Ryan Donk scored to help the country he captains, Suriname, defeat the Cayman Islands 3-0 in a CONCACAF 2022 World Cup qualifying match on Wednesday (24 March). Shaquille Pinas opened the scoring and Donk followed with a successful penalty after Cayman Islands goalkeeper David Lee fouled Nigel Hasselbaink. Gleofilo Vlijter added an insurance marker in the second half. Suriname will face Aruba next on 27 March while the Cayman Islands take on Canada on the 28th - both at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, USA.
