Palmeiras won the first leg of their Copa Libertadores' last eight matches against Colo-Colo in Chile's capital. Brazilians needed only three minutes to hit the target when Bruno Henrique slammed in a right-footed shot past Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Agustin Orion. Dudu doubled the visitors' lead when he knocked in a rebound following Willian's shot in the 78th minute. Palmeiras won the match 2-0. Colo-Colo will be without Damian Perez in the second leg after he was sent off in stoppage time for a late challenge with his studs up. Second leg tie will reconvene in Sao Paulo on 3rd October.
