The Indian subcontinent fans of La Liga can only see their beloved stars only on Facebook, not on the Television sets as the Spanish League has agreed a three-year contract with Facebook to show the matches. This is Facebook's first live streaming deal in the Indian subcontinent. Valued at 25 million dollars, the deal is learnt to be a part of Facebook's entire southeast Asian bid, said to be in excess of 100 million dollars. This is happening for the very first time in the history of football that a major football league has taken the decision to right off the television rights in order to set a new partnership, the social media site. From the perspective of doing the complete digitization of sports, it is looking like a good decision.
