Lautaro Martinez scored a late winner as Inter Milan beat nine-man Napoli 1-0 to close the gap between third and second in Serie A. A tight encounter looked set to end goalless before the game exploded to life in the closing ten minutes as Kalidou Koulibaly was shown a second yellow card for sarcastically applauding the referee. Napoli almost defied their numerical disadvantage as the visiting team were only denied the lead by Kwadwo Asamoah's goal-line clearance from Piotr Zielinski's effort. They were quickly made to pay as Martinez converted fellow substitute Keita Balde's deflected cross to spark pandemonium in the San Siro in stoppage time. More drama followed as Lorenzo Insigne was also sent off for dissent, before clashing with Balde on his way off the field.
