Football: 'I don't care if Bayer 04 top of Bundesliga now' - coach Bosz on title race

Head coach Peter Bosz looked ahead on Friday (1st January) to Bayer Leverkusen's trip to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday (2nd January). Bayer topped the table until they suffered their first league defeat of the season in their last outing on December 19th, a 2-1 defeat against champions Bayern Munich who leapfrogged them into first, but Bosz isn't too focused on looking at the German top-flight table right now. "Personally I believe that we don't have to look at the table right now. In my opinion, it doesn't help. I think we need to take it game by game and try to win the games." Die Werkself travel to an Eintracht side which have proven themselves to be difficult to beat, with just two losses from their 13 league games so far this season. "If you look at Frankfurt's results this season against the teams who are high up the table, they've always had very good results. It's not easy to play in Frankfurt."
