Bayern Munich retained their seven-point lead at the top of the German Bundesliga on Saturday, with Leon Goretzka scoring a late goal in the 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach. Borussia Dortmund had beaten hosts Fortuna Dusseldorf 1-0 earlier in the day, with substitute Erling Haaland scoring in the fifth minute of added time, but Bayern now only need one win from their three remaining games to seal an eighth successive Bundesliga title. At the other end of the table, Paderborn look doomed to relegation after they were hammered 5-1 at home by fellow strugglers Werder Bremen.
