Football: FIFA boss Gianni Infantino warns against restarting leagues too early

FIFA chief Gianni Infantino warned the world football before planning to restart any league amid the coronavirus pandemic. Infantino said that no league is worth risking a single human life. “Our first priority is that health comes first,” FIFA president added. Infantino told FIFA’s 211 member associations that “If we have to wait a little longer we must do so.” International and domestic leagues have come to a standstill. Major tournaments such as EURO 2020 and the Copa America have already been postponed for a year due to COVID-19 crisis.
