Football: Eriksson hopes Sterling and De Bruyne snub Madrid to stay at City

Former Manchester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson hopes Sterling and De Bruyne won't move to Real Madrid. Goran: “Well they [Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne] can play for Real Madrid if they want to but I would be disappointed. I don't know, I really hope they stay in England because when you look at it so far, for many years the Premier League is the best in the world, no doubt about that. Most popular and best league to see. Other leagues are good, but how many people watch Spanish football if it’s not Barcelona or Real Madrid maybe Atletico Madrid? I don't think many. Bundesliga is a little bit the same if Dortmund or Bayern are not playing are you sitting and looking at it? Probably not. In England, it's different because any team can beat any other team. So if not one of the most famous teams play, you sit and look at it and it’s good football to watch, always a fight in England. Anybody can beat anyone."
