Borussia Dortmund's Bundesliga title hopes suffered another blow on Friday when they were beaten for the second time in four days, losing 4-2 away to Borussia Monchengladbach. Nico Elvedi scored twice in the first half for the home side, breaking the deadlock and levelling after Erling Haaland grabbed a brace of goals for Dortmund - Jadon Sancho involved in both of the Norwegian's strikes. Ramy Bensebaini put Monchengladbach back in front at that the start of the second half with his first goal for 17 months though before Marcus Thuram came off the substitutes' bench to head in a fourth for the 'Colts'. A fourth win in five Bundesliga games lifted Monchengladbach up into fourth place in the standings, while Dortmund have taken one point from the last nine available and slipped down to fifth.
