Benfica hammered Maritimo in a one-sided game of the Primeira Liga as Vinicius scored a magnificent hat-trick for the home side. The Brazilian forward Vinicius came out as superstar of the evening as 10-man Benfica thrashed Maritimo 4-0 at the Primeira Liga. Pizzi scored the first goal of the match from Carlos Vinicius' assist in the 8th minute. Vinicius scored from Pizzi's assist in the 17th minute to make it 2-0 for Benfica. Carlos Vinicius came in action again after just 14 minutes to score with a tap-in following Amir Abedzadeh's save from Pizzi's cross in the 31st minute. Vinicius scored his final goal to complete his hat-trick in the 55th minute. After the victory, Benfica went five points clear of Porto on top of the Primeira Liga.
