Football: Arsenal announce Lucas Torreira signing

Arsenal have announced the signing of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria. The 22-year-old midfielder is a Uruguay international and previously played for Pescara. Torreira scored four goals in 74 matches for Sampdoria and has eight international caps. He spent three years at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
