Struggling West Brom will travel to Premier League table-toppers Liverpool on 27th December for Allardyce's second game in charge. The first, against Aston Villa, ended in a 3-0 defeat for the Baggies, who have amassed just seven points from 14 league games this season. Liverpool, in contrast, are unbeaten in 64 league games at Anfield and thrashed Crystal Palace 7-0 last time out. "A pretty big trashing. That's the last thing we want to do," said Allardyce ahead of the match. "If you open yourself up too much against Liverpool they will just play straight through you," warned the Baggies boss.
