Football: Ajax thrash second-from-bottom ADO Den Haag 6-1 in Eredivisie

Ajax thrashed much weaker a team of ADO Den Haag in a one-sided game and strengthen their grip at the top position of the Eredivisie table. Ajax regained their three-point lead at the top of the standings as they hammered ADO Den Haag 6-1 at home. Ajax were 4-0 up at the half time against Den Haag. Hakim Ziyech scored the first goal in the 15th minute. Donny van de Beek doubled the lead in the 23rd minute. Jurgen Ekkelenkamp made it 3-0 in the 37th and Ryan Gravenberch scored the fourth goal two minutes later. More pain immediately after the break for the visitors with Dusan Tadic making it five in the 48th minute while Lassina Traore posted the final goal in the 63rd to seal the match for Ajax.
