CSKA Moscow retained their second place position in the Euroleague after a straightforward 87-72 victory over Crvena Zvezda at the Megasport Arena on Thursday. Five players scored double figures for the home side, as CSKA Moscow captured their second consecutive win and improved their EuroLeague record to 20–10. Dejan Davidovac top scored for Crvena Zvezda with 20 points but his prowess on the court wasn't enough and Cvezda dropped to 9-22 and remain 17th in the standings, with no mathematical chance of making the Euroleague play-offs.
