Asian Games News : Indian archers facing ban from World events

Indian archers could be banned from competing internationally if the de-recognised Archery Association of India doesn’t hold its elections immediately in coming months, World Archery has warned. This comes close on the heels of India losing hosting rights of the 2019 Asian Championships — an Olympic qualification event — to Bangkok last week, and now Indian archers could miss out on the Asia Cup in the same city next February.
